In 1996, Stacy graduated Magna Cum Laude from UC San Diego’s honors program in Cultural Anthropology, focusing on the intersection of culture, leadership, and community. She initially planned to take a year off before pursuing graduate school, but after a year in sales and marketing, Stacy discovered a true passion for helping others. With her strong ability to understand, communicate, and connect with people, she built a successful career as an entrepreneur in sales, marketing, and real estate for over 25 years.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, as Stacy’s daughter Emily prepared to apply to college, Stacy reached out to several college counselors. While they were helpful, Stacy found she didn’t always know the right questions to ask—and none of them offered a simple, systematic, step-by-step approach to help Emily fully understand the college application process.
Coming from a high-end sales background, where checklists, systems, and processes are essential, Stacy knew there had to be a better way.
Determined to help Emily, Stacy created an easy-to-use, personalized system that helped her daughter discover her passion, maximize her academics, enhance her extracurricular activities, and focus on her core values—positioning her to meet colleges’ institutional needs in the best possible way.
Eager to deepen her knowledge, Stacy dedicated hundreds of hours to podcasts, books, tutorials, and seminars, eventually earning her Professional Certificate in College Counseling from UC San Diego. She believes college applications are a vehicle to tell your unique story, and her mission is to help students share that story as clearly and directly as possible.
The best part? The program worked. Emily was accepted to her top two college choices. Inspired by this success, Stacy found a new career passion. With a growing client base, she now helps other teens and parents navigate the college application journey, position themselves for success, and take the stress out of “application season.”
